What do I bring to apply for a passport or a national identity card in Sweden?
You bring a valid physical Swedish identity document, and your old passport or national identity card if it is still valid. A digital card from BankID does not count, and if you have no valid document you bring a person the police accept who can confirm who you are. The officer takes the photo and two fingerprints at the passport office, and you pay the fee there.
