How do you start maternity cash in Czechia?

For a start from 1 January 2025, the doctor sends the birth-date confirmation to social security and gives you an identifier. You tell your employer that you are starting, and you give them that identifier, in a way you can prove. A self-employed person files the sickness-benefit request electronically when a data box is required, or on paper at the social security office.
