What do I bring to apply for an identity card in Belgium?
You bring a photograph that meets the rules, and the identity card you are renewing, or another document that shows who you are. You go in person to the population office of the commune where you have your main home. The commune collects its fee then, and a letter from the commune states the amount if it summoned you.
