Does New Hampshire require an employment certificate for a minor?
The Department of Labor certificate table, revised January 1, 2024, lists a mandated employment certificate for a minor under 16. At 16 and 17 the employer keeps a signed note from a parent or guardian, and the Department of Safety may issue an age certificate in New Hampshire.
