What is a sight account in Chile?
Chile's financial market commission says a cuenta vista is a sight deposit account you can pay into and draw from. It holds money you already have, and it is not a credit line unless you ask for one. The account is in national currency and does not earn indexation, though interest can be agreed under the central bank's rules.
