When are the school terms for public schools in Romania?
The education ministry's order sets 36 weeks of lessons for the 2026 to 2027 school year. Courses start on 7 September. The Christmas break runs from 23 December to 10 January, and the county school inspectorate chooses one week between 15 February and 7 March.
