When are the school terms for public schools in Norway?

The education directorate says teaching must cover at least 38 school weeks, inside a frame of 45 weeks in a row. The municipality, or the county for upper secondary, sets the school days and the holiday days in a local regulation. Those days must still allow national tests and exams to run.
