How do I protect myself from a voice-phishing scam in South Korea?
South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service says public agencies and financial companies never ask by phone or by text for your name, your identity number, an account number, a password, or a security-card number. A popup or a message that asks you to type those details is a phishing attempt. Do not reply, and check through the company's own site.
