What paid rest break does state law require for adult workers in Washington?
Washington requires a paid 10-minute rest period for each 4-hour work period, near the midpoint. An employee may not be required to work more than 3 hours without a rest period. Agricultural work has its own paid 10-minute rest period in each 4-hour period.
