What paid rest break does state law require for adult workers in Oregon?
Oregon requires a paid 10-minute rest period for every 4 hours worked, or a major portion of 4 hours, separate from the meal period. It is not required for a worker who is already 18 years of age and who works alone in a retail or service shop open to the public, for less than 5 hours in a span of 16 hours.
