How many traditional holidays must an employer announce in Thailand?
Thailand's labour protection law says an employer must announce at least thirteen traditional holidays a year in advance, and that list includes National Labour Day. The employer chooses those days from the official annual holidays, from religious holidays, or from local traditional holidays. If one of those days falls on the employee's weekly day off, the next working day is the substitute.
