What are the bank holidays in the United Kingdom?
England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland each have their own bank holiday dates. GOV.UK publishes those dates. If a bank holiday falls on a weekend, a substitute weekday becomes a bank holiday, normally the following Monday.
