What contract amount brings a public project under the prevailing wage law in Virginia?
The Department of Labor prevailing wage table, revised January 1, 2023, lists a threshold of $250,000 or more when the public body is a state unit and the project has any state funding, or when a locality has adopted an ordinance requiring the prevailing wage on its own public works in Virginia.
