What does a pet dog or cat need to enter India?
AQCS says a passenger bringing a pet dog or cat applies on the ATITHI 2.0 portal for an Advance No Objection Certificate, after the health documents are checked. An airline is told to carry the animal only when that certificate is valid. Without a valid Advance certificate, AQCS can order the animal sent back.
