What does a pet need to enter Ireland with you?
Your pet must arrive in Ireland with you, or within 5 days, and with the original papers. A pet you buy abroad and have shipped, or any change of ownership, does not use those pet travel rules. The department's pet travel portal lists the health steps for the country you travel from.
