What does a dog, cat, or ferret need to enter Czechia from another European Union country or from Norway?

The State Veterinary Administration says the animal needs a microchip, or a readable tattoo made before 3 July 2011, and the mark comes before the rabies vaccination and before the passport. The animal travels with a European pet passport. Rabies vaccination starts from 12 weeks of age, counts 21 days after the primary course, and a booster given during the previous vaccination counts from that day.
