How do I find a lost workplace retirement plan in the United States?
The Department of Labor Retirement Savings Lost and Found Database lists private-sector and union retirement plans linked to your Social Security number, and the contact details for those plan administrators. A result means you took part in that plan at some point. It does not mean a benefit is still owed. It does not include an IRA, a government plan, or Social Security. You sign in with Login.gov, using a state ID or driver's license. The Department of Labor does not charge a fee, and it will not call, text, or email you to ask for your password or a one-time code.
