What papers does a bank commonly ask for in the United Arab Emirates?

The official government page for the United Arab Emirates lists the papers most commonly required to open a bank account as an Emirates ID, a valid residence visa, a passport or a family book, and a salary certificate or an employment letter. The same page says proof of address is asked for in some cases.
