What extra charges can a leasehold or a new-build estate add in the United Kingdom?
If you buy a leasehold, MoneyHelper says you might pay ground rent and a service charge. Ground rent is a yearly fee for the land your home is on. It can be as low as £10 a year, or over £500 for a new-build flat.
