What meal break does state law require for adult workers in Oregon?
Oregon requires a 30-minute meal period, with relief from all duty, for a work period of 6 to 8 hours. A shorter paid meal period of at least 20 minutes is allowed when that is industry practice, or when the work prevents relief from all duty.
