What meal break does state law require for adult workers in Connecticut?
Connecticut requires a 30-minute meal period, after the first 2 hours and before the last 2 hours, for employees who work 7.5 consecutive hours or more. An employer who already provides 30 or more minutes of paid rest or meal time in that period is excluded.
