Which identity document can a foreigner use at a bank in Argentina?
The Central Bank's identification rules say that after a year of permanent or temporary residence in Argentina, a foreigner shows the digital national identity document. Before that year, or with a temporary or precarious stay, a person from Mercosur can show a passport from the country of origin or a Mercosur travel document, and a person from another country shows a passport from the country of origin.
