What must an app show in New York when a price uses your personal data?
The New York Attorney General says the Algorithmic Pricing Disclosure Act requires most businesses to place, near the price, the words THIS PRICE WAS SET BY AN ALGORITHM USING YOUR PERSONAL DATA. The same alert says this kind of pricing can charge some people more than others based on location, income, or earlier shopping, and a missing notice can draw a id="content",000 penalty for each violation.
