What should I read before I agree to a credit card in the United States?
The credit card company must disclose the APR before you agree to use the card. The CFPB says the APR is the yearly price of borrowing, and it is the way to compare the cost. The cardholder agreement lists the fees, what you owe if someone uses the card without permission, and the APR.
