What happens if I apply for several credit cards at the same time in Italy?
When you apply for a loan, the bank checks the Central Credit Register run by Banca d'Italia and may also check private credit information systems. The public register holds debts to banks and other intermediaries. Only the bank you apply to can see your data there, and only to decide that application. The register is not a score. Private systems are separate, and a bank chooses whether to use them.
