What minimum age does Indiana set for farm work?
The Department of Labor agricultural child labor table, revised December 10, 2025, does not list a minimum age for farm work during school hours in Indiana. Outside school hours it lists 12. The table says minors ages 14 to 17 are exempt from the non-farm hour rules, and it states no such provision for ages 12 and 13.
