How do I pay income tax online in India?
The income tax department says you pay income tax in India through e-Pay Tax on the e-filing portal. You create a challan there, then pay by net banking, a debit card, or at a bank counter. If your bank is not on the authorised list, you can use RTGS, NEFT, or the payment gateway.
