What protects a bank deposit in Thailand?
The Deposit Protection Agency protects a baht deposit in Thailand automatically, up to 1 million baht for each depositor at one covered institution, and you do not apply or pay. If you hold several accounts at that same institution, they are added together before the limit is applied.
