What do I do if someone uses my identity for credit in France?
Service-Public explains identity misuse. It says to check with the Banque de France that you are not listed on the fichier central des chèques (FCC) or the fichier des incidents de remboursement des crédits (FICP). You report misuse to the police yourself.
