How do I see my social security contributions in Brazil?
The Extrato de Contribuição (CNIS) lists the jobs, pay, and social security contributions held in the Cadastro Nacional de Informações Sociais. You can ask for three extracts. One lists the periods you worked or contributed. One adds the pay amounts. One lists contributions year by year from November 2019. The request is online. You do not need to go to an INSS office. Sign in to Meu INSS with your CPF and password, and type CNIS. You need a GOV.BR account at Bronze, Prata, or Ouro level. If the system is down, call 135. The line is open Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm Brasilia time.
