When is night work prohibited for a minor under 16 in Nebraska?
The Department of Labor child labor table, revised July 15, 2025, prohibits night work for a minor under 16 in Nebraska from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. under 14, and from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. at ages 14 and 15. A special permit can allow work past 10 p.m. before a day when there is no school.
