Does child entertainment work need a permit in Oregon?
The Department of Labor child entertainment table, revised January 1, 2023, says Oregon requires the employer to register with the Bureau of Labor for a job of 5 days or fewer. A longer job needs a work permit at ages 14 to 17, and a special permit under 14. A baby under 15 days cannot work.
