Wanneer heeft een auto een keuring nodig in Texas?
Het Texas Department of Public Safety zegt dat een niet-commercieel voertuig sinds 1 januari 2025 geen veiligheidskeuring meer nodig heeft voor de registratie. Een niet-commercieel voertuig in een van 17 county's heeft voor de registratie nog wel een geslaagde emissiekeuring nodig. Die county's zijn Brazoria, Collin, Dallas, Denton, El Paso, Ellis, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Johnson, Kaufman, Montgomery, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, Travis en Williamson. Commerciële voertuigen hebben in elke county nog een geslaagde commerciële keuring nodig.
