What is a will in the United States?
A will is a written document that says who should receive your property and who should handle your estate after you die, under your state’s published rules. It is not the same as life insurance or a bank account nomination. USA.gov explains what a will can cover. This is not legal advice and MiSalvo never drafts a will.
