What is the social security invalidity benefit in Thailand?
The Social Security Office says invalidity means a loss of an organ, of its function, or of ordinary mental health, serious enough that the person cannot do their usual work, under the medical committee's rules. The insured person needs three months of contributions inside the 15 months before the invalidity. A severe case pays 50 percent of wages each month for life, and a case that is not severe follows the period and the rules in the announcement the page points to.
