What does social security pay for a birth in Thailand?
The Social Security Office says a birth payment needs at least five months of contributions inside the 15 months before the birth month, and the page sets a flat medical payment for each birth. An insured woman also gets leave pay of 50 percent of average wages for 90 days, and that leave pay is not paid for a third child. If both spouses are insured, only one of them claims the medical payment.
