What do I do after a car accident in Singapore?
The Singapore Police Force says a traffic accident report must be lodged when the crash involves a death, an injury where at least one person was taken to hospital from the scene by ambulance, or anyone who was injured got outpatient medical leave of 3 days or more, damage to government property, a foreign vehicle, a pedestrian or a cyclist, or a hit-and-run. If none of those apply, the people involved exchange particulars and report the crash to their insurer. You can lodge the police report online with Singpass, or at a police station.
