What is the sickness allowance in Macau?
The sickness allowance is a daily payment for a beneficiary who is ill, has contributed in at least nine of the 12 months before the quarter the illness starts, and does no paid work during the illness. It starts on the second day of the illness, and the person can ask from that day until 30 days after the illness ends. A medical certificate must come with the request, and the fund page prints the daily amount and the yearly cap.
