The PM-KISAN page says this income support goes to a landholding farmer family, in three equal instalments in a year, and the page prints the amount. A family for the scheme is the husband, the wife, and minor children, and the state identifies the families from the land records. The money is paid into the bank account, eKYC is required, and the page lists groups that are left out.
