How long is paternity leave in Hong Kong?
A male employee under a continuous contract who has given the required notice can take five days of paternity leave for a child. The leave can be taken together or on separate days, from four weeks before the expected date of delivery until 14 weeks after the actual date. Pay at four-fifths of average daily wages applies if he has been employed under a continuous contract for at least 40 weeks immediately before the leave day.
