What is Child benefit in Finland?
It is for a child under 17 who lives permanently in Finland with a parent or another person responsible for their care. Kela does not pay it automatically. You apply in OmaKela or on form LL 1, within 6 months of the date you want it from. The page prints the amounts, including a different set for Åland. A payment is not guaranteed. Confirm on the official page.
