When does a car need an ITV in Spain?
The general access point says a private car has its first ITV four years after the date of first registration, then every two years. If the vehicle is more than ten years old, the ITV is every year. Motorcycles and quadricycles are four years after first registration, then every two years. The inspection is at an ITV station. A passed inspection gets a V-19 sticker. A change of owner does not change the validity of the inspection.
