What is Health insurance in Estonia?
Check whether it is valid in the health portal, or in the state portal service the page names. A permanent resident, or a person with a residence permit, is covered when social tax is paid, when they are treated as insured, or when they have a voluntary contract. A person staying on a temporary basis is covered only when social tax is paid for work. If the population register no longer shows Estonia as home, Tervisekassa can end the cover. Confirm on the official page.
