How do I register to vote in Germany?
The federal returning officer says the municipality keeps the voter list for Bundestag and European elections from the population register. German citizens who are registered with the registration office on the 42nd day before the election are entered without a separate application. If no polling notification has arrived by the 21st day before the election, contact the municipality.
