What is AHV cover when you work in Switzerland in Switzerland?
People who work in Switzerland are generally covered by Swiss social security, including AHV, whether or not they are Swiss and whether or not they live in Switzerland. The employer pays the contributions for AHV, IV, EO, unemployment insurance, occupational pension, and family allowances, except in Valais. You pay your own compulsory health-insurance premium to the insurer. This card does not say what pension you will receive. Confirm on the official page.
