What is Prouni in Brazil?
The education ministry says Prouni offers full and half-fee scholarships at private higher-education institutions for a Brazilian candidate who does not already hold a higher-education diploma. Selection uses the Enem from the two editions before the round, with an average of at least 450 across the five tests and a writing score that is not zero. A full scholarship asks for family income up to one and a half minimum wages per person, and the half-fee scholarship asks for up to three minimum wages per person.
