What is maternity pay in Brazil?
The INSS says maternity pay is for a person who stops their activity because of a birth, a non-criminal abortion, an adoption, or a judicial guardianship for adoption. A birth, a stillbirth, or an adoption lasts 120 days. An employee of a company asks the employer, and other insured people ask the INSS.
