How do I prepare for the driving test in Australia?
Austroads says the national graduated system starts with a learner permit at 16, and you drive only with a supervisor. It includes a road-rules knowledge test, at least 50 hours in a log book, a hazard perception test, and a practical driving test. Driving without a supervisor starts at 17. Every state and territory meets or goes past that minimum.
