What is the difference between fully comprehensive and third-party car insurance in Austria?
The official information portal says that if you are at fault, your third-party liability insurance covers the other driver's damage and not your own. To be paid for your own damage, you need fully comprehensive insurance. A policy can also add a higher insured sum, partial cover for fire and theft, or passenger insurance for the driver and other passengers.
